hero megatron/bludgeon modification

Recommended Posts

ok this is a work in progress. i have removed those horrible empty legs from my RID bludgeon and attached some lower legs from a 1/100 scale wing gundam model kit and IMO it looks great! no drilling screwing reqired as the 'knee' joint from bludgeon fits exactly into the space for the knee joint on the gundam. and its tight. this also gives him great ankle articulation. next plan is gonna be painting him up as g1 megs. seeing as i don't have a digicam at the moment i have knocked up this pic to give an idea of how it looks. i am also working on an altmode which utilises his left over leg peices and the cannon attachment. something along the lines of the sketches for headmaster hardhead (when he looked a lot more badass than the finished thing...)

Would have to wait to see your finished work, but so far to me the boxy chest and arms don't match with rounded out legs. He kind of looks like he's wearing women's boots.  But since this is a sample pic and you just started working on him I am sure the final version will look better.

Um... I don't want to be rude but it looks like he's wearing thigh-high kinky boots! They even have heels!

It's bit more "Lady of the Night" than I'd like!

But maybe it's just that picture. Good luck with it! :)

I thought exactly the same thing re: women's legs.

to be hones i'm kinda going for the 'super megatron' look which is a little bit more anime inspired than the regular G1 look. he does look feminine in that pose there, but looks a lot better in an action pose!

I agree.
