Transformers Armageddon

+ Chapter 1 +

-- The Armageddon

The events before this time cannot be written for. A spectacular event had occurred that scarred the entire universe. A being had mistakenly torn the fabric of time and started the collapse of many dimensions on top of each other. The current conflict was on Earth and the Autobots were about to defeat the Decepticons. It was at this time that the effects of this event had reached the Earth, and suddenly there was darkness. An unknown amount of time had passed and those that survived began to awaken. They had no knowledge of what had happened in the period of darkness, and soon realised that many of their friends and enemies were missing. This event became known as the Armageddon, because the survivors believed that these missing were dead.

The Autobots and Decepticons had found refound themselves, and regrouped. Their numbers were horribly small, and instead of joining together to rebuild, the leader of the Decepticons decided to destroy the Autobots. That leader was Hunn-Gurr. He led his Decepticons on a strike against the Autobots and destroyed Optimus Prime. It was at that time that it was discovered that the Matrix of Leadership was no longer in Optimus Prime's possession.

The defeated Autobots had disbanded and organised themselves in small groups. Most of the Autobots had no wish for further conflict, and were destroyed by the Decepticons. Only a few had remained. Soon afterwards, they discovered Optimus Prime's Earthen grave, of which only his head and his trailer remained. They had taken these peices and created their base out of the trailer, and interfaced Optimus Prime's head with it, in the hope to extract data from his memory banks.

The Decepticons became more powerful over time and the Autobots began to find some of their missing comrades, most times just appearing out of nowhere, either lost or confused. Shockwave was discovered by the Decepticons in an extremely battered state. He was slightly repaired with what could be found in the barren wasteland that Earth had become, and had eventually replaced Hunn-Gurr as leader. Shockwave's goal ws to return to Cybertron, as he felt that it was dead. They needed the computer that the Autobots had created (called the Prime One Computer) to power their ship, which had been scavenged from the parts left over after they had destroyed G.I. Joe Headquarters.

The Decepticons conducted a raid on the Autobots base. Some resistance was given, but not much, since the Autobots were greatly outnumbered. The Prime One Computer was taken back to the Decepticon base. They had integrated the computer into their ship and were preparing for launch when a large group of Autobots attempted to stop them. They failed and the ship flew off into space.

While in space, they encountered a derelict shuttle, and found Mixmaster, Sinnertwin and their prisoner, First Aid on board. Shockwave became confused since Mixmaster was already on their ship when the shuttle was found, and no, it appeared, there were two of them! Mixmaster II (as he became known as) reported that the "Armageddon" had destroyed much of Cybertron. Shockwave did not let this bad news stop him from changing his mind. They still continued on towards Cybertron.

Their ship was running out of fuel and it became clear that it wouldn't make it to Cybertron. They decided to land on an uncharted and unknown planet. It had also experienced the Armageddon. Searching for a place of refuge from the dust storms that plagued its surface, the Decepticons left their ship and found a castle. They found the castle to be inhabited only by a few natives. The Decepticons scared them out and they then took shelter within.

A two headed native sneaks back into the castle and sneaks into the room containing the Prime One Computer. He noticed that one part of it has a face and the eyes are lit up. He rips the head off the computer setup and escapes from the castle. The Decepticons Onslaught, Dreadwind and Space Case take off after the native. They follow the native's trail to another castle, which had been damaged very badly by something.

They find the native with Optimus Prime's head in the cellar of the castle. He throws the head through a doorway and closes the door. The Decepticons are not able to stop him and other natives appear and attack them with energy weapons. In the struggle, the door was destroyed. The fighting had then ceased and it was seen that the doorway led to a blank wall. The native explained to the Decepticons that the doorway was a magical portal that led to another world, but the destruction of the door had broken the spell. When asked where that door had led, the natives responded that they did not know, since they had not been the original dwellers of this castle.
