I've only found mixed reviews on the Windcharger barrel.

 

I just need these lanuchers for display. Basically if they don't fall apart by touching/looking at them, I'm fine.

Yeah the "Not as Durable" part is scary. I didn't know they made them in different colors. I need those red ones to make like now for my Silverstreak.

i ordered a windcharger barrel and shoulder cannons for my smokescreen and my bluestreak. hmmmmm review

 

they arrived really quickly in a tiny lil box, they were packaged saftly wrapped up in some wrap.

 

wincharger barrel. pretty damn cool. looks like the one iv seen in the pics. nice sturdy lump of plastic. you just have to force the metal rod that out of the way to fit in to place with the engine then once there connected knock it snuggly back into place.

 

shoulder rockets. well i ordered them before the coloured versions were avalable. these were somewhat of a disapointment. without the paint job they look tacky and there also a tad uneven. aslo the launchers themselves were to small for the holdsters and whilst some wont stay in any positin other then flat on the chest of bluestreak/smokecreen others just fall off all the time. the biggest complaint iv got is that 'not as durable' part whoa they WERE NOT KIDDING. the first time i tried to remove the launchers from smokescreens shoulders the peg snapped in half. an i must stress i was taking the thing out as gently as i could as it had only arrived 30 mins before hand. it was all well and good with a lil glue. but a couple of days later same thing happened with the other one. now im extremly gentle with my alts. and this just pissed me off.

 

final conclusion. wincharger barrel. rocks. id give 8 out of 10

shoulder rockets, for $12 a pop id say stay away noooooooo evil 2-10

my advice go to marks project and order his lil bit more expensice but waaaaaay more cooler

i got mine from VP couldnt ask for better deal good price and quality i ony managed to break one out of 6 i ordered and i was pressing pretty hard on it but i dont thnk hes maing them anymore

Ken/KCC of TransRepro will have the barrels and launchers (working versions even) for a lot less, next week!

I bought two sets of these and have not had one problem with the launchers at all. I have to say I was pretty rough with them too. Took a little while to ge tthem but worth it in my opinion. But take it for what it's worth.

working launchers that are cheaper surly not, id be ordering 1000 of those lol, i do liekkens repros they are pritty flawless andhe gets the price just right.

 

but on the other hand i have to say JD is an honest guy, he said they are for display and the windcharger barrle i had was rough at the end but very durable. hes not one for reproductions but his origional stuff like the HTM01 are amaziing. gotta love those

Well, I don't know about the launchers...  I'm still waiting to get the Fort Max parts set.  I was using that as a guide as to whether I would buy other things from him.  It's been several months since I ordered it.  It was mutally agreed that my shipment must have gotten lost in the mail.  He said that he would send me another set two weeks ago.  I'll provide a full review when it comes in.
