Alternators Shackwave

Believe it or not, I think I beat you to the idea. I bought an extra Shockwave Alt a couple of weeks ago with the intent of making a Shackwave. There is a guy who goes to seminary with me that actually has a RX-8 and it's gray. I see it every other day or so in the parking lot on my way to class. Yep this idea has been running around in my head for a while. For actually making the idea manefested into something, yep you beat me to it. :tftongue

I always thought the shackwave would be a bot'...

Nah, he technically appeared in a seson 2 episode ('Autobot Run', iirc); he was in the background, among a group of laughing Decepticons. Grey, on Earth, and laughing, that's three things that confirm it was Shackwave and not Shockwave. :P :tflaugh

I went to Seibertron's image archive of that ep and I couldn't find a still of him. Not saying you're wrong, just saying I can't find it. Do you have an image of ol Shackwaver?

Not right now, I'm afraid, but I did double-check the episode on DVD. Chapter 4, from about 9:38 to 9:46, he flies in with Megatron and some other Decepticons to laugh at the Autobots being in transformation lock. Actually, I did see Shockwave himself earlier in the episode (it's probably the most sloppily-drawn episode in Season 2), but the one in the above scene is very drab and dull in color, definitely not Shockwave's purple.

Obviously a coloration error, but it's simply too good of a coincidence to pass up attributing it as Shackwave. :tflaugh1 :thumb
