Didn't rhino say they where going to get headmaster, and other Tf series only shown in Japan over here??  :tfhuh

Do they have any dates or anything up yet if so??

Rhino had said they were interested, but nothing ever came of it, and I doubt now that Paramount has the contract they'd be interested in releasing it, since it would just confuse the youg kids who watch armada/energon.  Still if you are interested, i'd pick up a set from one of the sites selling them, they are pretty good

Beast Machines is still up in the air as well.  As far as I know, Rhino still has the rights, though I think somebody has said those are gone now as well.

RID is a complete unknown.  Saban was responsible for the series, but they are now owned by "da Mouse" (aka, Disney through Buena Vista).  I have no idea how the rights work and I'd be very surprised to hear anything of a RID DVD release anytime soon.  (though, BV might put some episodes out on DVD around the film like they have with the Marvel stuff they own).

Armada and Energon (as well as Cybertron) all fall under Paramounts umbrella, which now includes the Sunbow series.

Yeah, I'd say that the only real way to get the Japan-only series other than Armada and Energon would be to get those DVDs. Have to be careful, though. Pretty much all of them are less-than-legit and often have either horrible dubbing or subtitling, but until an interest that's more than niche is displayed here (i.e., people other than X-BoB care enough about them coming here), well...tough luck for us.

I want my Beast Machines! Whinning aside, I really wish we could get some of the Japanese only series with subtitles, its a pain to get them currently and much of it is not readily available.

It's unfortunate that if we do get them, they won't likely be dubbed, however...

1. Most of the Geewun actors are either dead or not doing TF anymore

2. ADR dubbing usually ends up as total Blot
