Where can I get a photoshop?  I have "paint" on my comp. but I really want to start using photoshop.  Where can I get it?  Thanks for your help.

Photoshop is teh expensive. The current version runs about $600.00. It is available at Adobe.com.

 

Perhaps try for an older version might save you some dough.

Best Buy and Circuit City carry Photoshop. But it is extremely expensive.

yeah it ant cheap but some times they have old copys on pc mag discs i got 2.0 like that

 

you could risk trying to DL but all my m8 have tryed and they had all gotten some nasty virus with it. me on the other hand saved and got a lagit copy of 6.0

maybe Paint Shop Pro is a good alternative, it is shareware, a lot less expensive than Photoshop

 

but I think there is an official photoshop lite version, which has the basic commands and thus costs a lot less as well

I use Corel Graphics Suite, but it is also expensive as hell. Atleast I didn't have to pay for. There's some advantages to having a graphic artist in your family.

There is also GIMP. It's shareware, thus free, and works in similar fashion to photoshop.

use the layers, in one layer your remove the background (erase tool) so that you can color the item(s) you want, and you can create new layers to add text or other pictures
