question about Brawn.

Recommended Posts

am i the only one who thinks that Brawn's animation face makes him look old? aren't the minicars suppose to be kids?

Yes, he does look older...

But NO, the Minibots aren't meant to be kids.

Bumblebee and Wheelie are the only ones considered young.

Brawn, Huffer, Pipes, Warpath, Beachcomber, and Gears are all consider what I guess would translate to early-middle age.

Cliffjumper, Windcharger, Cosmos, Seaspray, Powerglide, Swerve, Tailgate, and Outback all seems to about average young adult to adult.

oh, too bad the writers didn't that route. it would have made it easier to explain the minicars' smaller sizes.

The Minibots sizes were Story-Wise just a smaller-scaled robot. They weren't meant to be kids.

Toy-Wise they were just smaller-scaled Microchange figures that were a cool quirk to put into the G1 TF toyline.

I seem to recall hearing Brawn complain about joint pain (like Kup).  I always thought he was an older robot, just small too.  It's not the size and all that.

I mean Huffer could haul Prime's trailer, they wouldn't trust that to some kid.  Even though Huffer tended to worry quite a bit.

Short humans arent always children either ;)

but then again, tf's have greater control over the design of their bodies than we do. if the tf doesn't like his current body, he can easily modify it or just transfer his spark to an all new body. i don't think an adult tf would want to run around in a child-like body unless it served a practical purpose.

wait, i just thought of such a practical purpose. there were a lot of season 1 autobots so maybe some of them took on smaller bodies to conserve the limited energy available to them.

That was Bumblebee's big deal. The fact his size and ability allowed him to be the most fuel-effiecent TF of the originals.

Keep in mind that in G1 body mods and upgrades didn't happen all that often. Cybertron was beld dry of its energy and resources long before the series started, so it's not all that hard ot imagine that, while body upgrades were possible, the procedure was out of reach for most TFs.

Only those who were damaged beyond repair but still alive or such thing would really warrant being transferred into a new body. It's not like plastic surgery here, y'know.
