With Target cancelling of their Studio Series 102BB Optimus Prime Preorders recently, there are a lot of upset fans right now. For whatever reason, the inventory for the much anticipated Voyager class made for the Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts didn't meet demand. Here it is, the reveal of the SS-122 (102BB) Optimus Prime from Takara TOMY Transformers Studio Series release. Sadly, due to heavy scalping and Target's always awful distribution, a lot of fans will be glad to get this as a consolation. Being a zealot gets the beast (pun) of me sometimes, as I had to compare the elusive Studio Series Rise Of The Beasts 102BB Optimus Prime to the Transformation QW-01 OP Commander Knock Off. The most visible difference is the absence of Autobot symbols. In-hand, the plastics look a bit lighter gray and darker blue, with much stiffer joints throughout. - Read the Full News Story
