Beast Wars Art Director at Mainframe Entertainment Wants to Attend Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Premier

My name is Anthony Gaud, and I was part of the original team that created the Beast Wars toy line and TV show at Hasbro 30 years ago. I was a lead toy designer at Hasbro, Cincinnati and then subsequently the Beast Wars Art Director at Mainframe Entertainment, Vancouver.

First and foremost, I would like to congratulate the director and the team on the upcoming Beast Wars-based movie, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. It is truly an exciting time for fans of the franchise, and I am extremely eager to see our creation come to life on the big screen.

However, I am sad to report that although we tried to get the OG toy and TV team invitations to the movie premiere of the movie to no avail.

As the creators of the original concept, we are proud of the lasting impact our work has had and would be honored to attend the premiere alongside the talented individuals who have brought this new chapter of Beast Wars to life.

I understand that organizing such a high-profile event is challenging, and it may have simply been an oversight, but recognizing and including the original creators would not only be a meaningful gesture but also enhance the experience for the devoted fan community.

The Beast Wars Comic Con panels we hosted last year were a great success, so we know that the fans care.

Please feel free to reach out to me if you require any further information or verification.

It is a very sad day at Cybertron...
