Okay

 

So my mom's school is having this career day thing this friday. The art teacher there came and asked me to come in so i'm going to have 3, half hour sessions with classes of middle school kids telling about what its like working as a comic colorist/illustrator/graphic artist [since i've done work in all fields]

 

anyway, i havent drawn in yonks and boy am I rusty :P

so to get back into shape i'm trying to sketch as many Galaxy Force characters as I can [cuz galaxy force pwnz] before Friday

okay, so the pencil part of this pic sucks big time

but i mainly concentrated more on colors/lighting and just really wanted to experiment with different posing

obviously the arm in front of the face is bad in terms of a single pin up of the char but ah well. its just a loose sketch so im not too worried about it. maybe i'll go back and redraw this char. until then i'm moving on

gr8 colouring and the poses are good but skids looks to grumpy compared to his toon self saying that i do like the upper body of inchup and jack shot looks cool
