It's been QUITE a while since I've posted any new project of mine, but I got the urge to do so with my latest.

 

After purchasing a G1 Reissue Smokescreen, I decided to do a repaint of an Alternator into his color scheme. As I had an extra Silverstreak, I repainted one of those.

 

This is STILL very much a work in progress........but progress enough has been made to give an overall look to it. I've still gotta do touchup, and I haven't done much on the robot side for painting.

Thanks......I took my G1 reissue into the hobby shop to match paint, and then when I got home, the blue was darker than I thought. Oh well, it's still shaping up quite nicely.

 

I'm still mulling over doing my extra Alt hound into a WWII color scheme jeep, with a lighter olive green mixed with gunmetal.

nice job, JABoyle3875. a little tip; if you want to neaten up the lines along the sides, use scotch brand magic tape, matte finish. it adheres nicely to the surface, and give a clean seperation line, plus it doesn't let paint bleed under.
