GD-05 gasket flaw

Recommended Posts

ok i just got my gd-05 gasket and ive noticed the rear wheels seem to be put together wrong. the real wheel is not sitting flush with his legs in bike mode. i think they have put the left side of the wheel on the right foot and vissa versa. do any other people have this problem?

UPDATE after looking at remys it looks like his is the same

Interesting, can you remove the pins and swap them?

i just tryed they plastic on the parts attached to the wheels bends a little to much for my liking so im just going to leave it its not like its limiting anything

You're right. it does look like it was designed to be intended that way. Well, its not the first time Takara got 2 identical parts swapped side for side. My Superlink Bruticus has his ear-horns on the wrong way =(

Again, I'm not sure why this is such an issue. The cartoons frequently get things wrong. The toys are usually designed first, then the show characters. Virtually every time they leave aspects of the toy out or change something because it's easier to animate that way.

Well its not an issue is it really, just a insight, no one is complaining about it. I would also summise that the cartoon artists are likely to work of the original conceptual art/design diagrams so as there is not a big break from the release of the toys and the show (cartoons are not exactly quick to make). So it appears more likely to have been slightly missasembled.

Did anyone try to fix this yet?

Yup. You just need patience.

Yeah...I saw an article on how Ransack's wheels are backwards at Transtopia. I don't think it's that big a deal though.
