The Daily Prime takes aim at the nearly forgotten figure from the Transformers Classics series in The Ultimate Battle DVD 2-Pack Optimus Prime Versus G2 Megatron. The remake of the original G1 Optimus Prime has the look with much better articulation and proportion. However, similarities end with the bewildered-looking facial expression, Tommy-gun weapon, and most disastrous of all the spinning torso feature. All things aside, not the worst Optimus Prime figure but a missed opportunity that could have easily been a truly Classic figure in the Generation 1 spirit.

  It may be too soon to call it, but we had to expect the new Evangelion x Transformers Collaborative would be another Optimus Prime deal, just like the 2014 EVA MP-10 and the 2015 Q-Transformers.But who knows?
