I didn't want to really say much at all about this or post any pics until I got to a certain stage of completion, but I figure at this point I just can't hold back any longer. Here's the most recent in-progress pic of my current (and first) scratchbuild project, War Within Megatron!

I'm building the toy mainly out of styrene and ABS plastic, and I've been working on it for about a month now (took a week or so off at Christmas). And I've been taking in-progress pics all the way along, too, so if anyone's interested I'll post them up as well.

How big is it going to be?

looking great so far. What scale or size is it going to be? I'm planning on scratch building War Within Grimlock myself (if someone ever gets to finishing the blue print for me. you know who you are!!).

This is going to be about the same size as Armada Megatron. Maybe a little wider through the shoulders, but about the same height (if all goes according to plan).

I know it's been a long time... like 9 freaking months.  but any updates???

that custom Megatron MP by Jaf just fueled me to find this and VP's WW Grimlock post again :D

Chris Parasyte hasn't posted here since January, asides from 6 posts in mid-April.

The parallel thread on Allspark.com (eivdently his mainly-frequented TF board) has a bit more work shown on the hips and forearms, but nothing past January once again:

I asked him about it about a month ago and he said he hasn't worked on it since jan/feb.  I don't know if he's restarted since a month ago.  I hope he does get back to working on it as it was looking very nice.
