I occasionaly order TF's in the US (like the Takara 20th anniversary Optimus Prime), but the import taxes here are horrible. To add insult to injury, the system is also slow.

As far as I know the taxes are lower for companies than for individuals.

Does anybody know about a company based in the Netherlands (or the EU) which imports Japanese and US Transformers?

Check out http://www.archonia.com and go to series -> transformers. Good selection of Japanese imports.

Fast delivery (with priority mail), very good customer service. I've ordered about 10 tf so far and no problems.

that's the place where i order my stuff, you can also buy from ebay or store's in foreign country's and ask them to mail it as a gift under $30, you don't have to pay taxes then.

You should take a look at Ellis Models, it's a UK based company, might be cheaper tax wise.

Does anyone know when the Energon toys will be hitting the shelves in the UK (particularly in the UK)? I've been checking Toys R Us and sent an e-mail to Hasbro, but so far I've got zip :wtf

Apparently Energon is scheduled for this summer. Armada is going to be extended with the Powerlinx repaints and remaining toys (including the beasts, apparently).

There's a possibility the prices might be going up, though :tdown

The wholesale prices look pretty high, especially for the larger size classes.

So you might want to import from the US anyway.

Also, check Marktplaats (Dutch site, so not of use for UK or USA). Sometimes it has pure bogus on it, but sometimes, you can find real treasures (can anyone say complete Diaclone Convoy for 30 dollars? :eek )
