“Firecons: Infernal Investigation

This was commissioned by Trixter, who wanted a Christmas present for her boyfriend, Liquid Velcro (who's assembled an army of Firecons over the years). Little did she know, she was giving me a long-awaited excuse to do a Sparkstalker pic. I've loved that geeky little monster since I got him and read his tech-spec bio back in '88.

Anyhow, the present was well-received, though LV suggested I name it "Just Another Day." But if I, huge Oingo Boingo fan that I am, didn't get the song reference, then what chance have any of you good-yet-potentially-Boingo-deficient people? Clearly, the pun was the only option.

But back to the art: Comments, critiques, etc.?

Fire and laser effects are top-notch. Grade-A quality art there.

I like the ash thats a cool touch.

sweet deal there Jackpawt! care to drop by vigilantstudio group and show Richard, zob and the rest this fantastic pic? I know they'd appreciate it.

I'm digging it, alot. I've always wanted to get my mits on one of those firecons- they have the same strange appeal that the jumpstarters have I think.

good job!

Thank you! I stole that idea from Crosswire's excellent Magnus/Galvy pic.

Heh, yeah. And people complain about today's TFs being built around gimmicks...

Thanks again for the comments, folks! I'm happy to hear your opinions, good or bad.
