Yeah, I was at Kb's the other day and saw an Energon Cyclonus and Demolisher(both Armada repaint). They looked kinda cool, but was there really any reason for them to be re-released and why did it take so long. Shouldn't that had been done a while back.

One more question. I read somewhere that energon Cyclonus and Snowcat will powerlink in the show. Is that true and will we see new designs of them.

Cyclonus became Snowcat on the show, so I don't think they can powerlink, that seems to be only an Autobot trick.

As for the two repaints, they are KB exclusives to match Demolisher and Cyclonus as they first appeared on the Energon cartoon brefore they got reformatted by Megatron

Chris

The figures were probably released so late as a result of unforseen demand. I can't think of too many who were really chomping at the bit for these recolors, but it's probably a contract fulfillment between Hasbro and Kay-Bee. Besides, there have been plenty of untimely releases on Hasbro's part; i.e. releasing Omega Supreme before Wing Saber. As for Cyclonus and Snow Cat, they are the same character so it is impossible for the two to interact in any way.

Sorry, I met Snowcat and Demolisher. Anywhoo, I read it at TVTOME on Energon about the Powerlinx ordeal, however, it appears to be on an Energon/Superlink episode that may not make it to the US.

Special

Dream Team

This episode is a rare special made for celebrating the 500th episode of Transformers! It takes place out of the energon continuity and may not make it to the U.S.A. or Canada.

b: UNAIRED

NOTE: Omega Supreme's headmaster comes off for a while. Decepticons, Snowcat and Demolisher powerlinx! Characters that have died or have been upgraded make a re-appearance (Shockblast, Inferno, Tidal Wave, Unicron, etc.). Contains awesome graphics of the Gestalts/Combiners Bruticus, Devastator and Superion as they Powerlink! In the end, Hot Shot and Rodimus are the Champions. The entire "tournament" is set within a autobot computer program

This special commemorates the 500th episode of "Transformers" in Japan (but since this count includes exclusive shows like Generation 1,Headmasters,Masterforce,Victory,Zone,Beast Wars II nd Beast Wars Neo,Car Robots,Micron Legend,Superlink.the American episode-count is still quite a distance from the 500 episode mark).

Most the guys in that ep were Holograms ina computer game

But still funny as hell.
