Hi, so Ive recently become interested in collecting transformers. I want to start off by collecting all the characters from the transformers prime series. I want the best versions of each character. So far Ive only found 2 of the best versions. The RID voyager Optimus Prime (or first edition) and first edition megatron. Now for the other characters anyone have any suggestions?? Thanks again!

The only Prime figure that I actually like is the Beast Hunters Shockwave.

RID Vehicon is a great figure, as well as First Edition Bulkhead, and Voyager Starscream has great articulation.

I can only speak for the Decepticons...

Personally, I'd go with a voyager Megatron. Either the AM-15 Megatron Darkness figure or AM-33 Final Battle Megatron (if you want some of that metallic finish on a proper sized figure). Those would of course mean importation, but you'll have to look to Japan for a few others anyway (Breakdown and Jet Vehicon). The twin seeker brothers are also nice additions (Skyquake & Dreadwing). I went with the First Edition deluxe Starscream, as well as the first release of Soundwave. Unfortunately, Knockout and Airachnid will just tick you off with their bad designs (I was able to kitbash Airachnid a bit, but still). I do like Beast Hunters Shockwave (and don't bother with the beastly kibble, yuck), but I do think they sized him just a bit to large.
