Thanks to cstoyshop who have shared an image of the TFC Toys 1 Blackbird in the box on their Weibo page. The Project Uranos combiner SR-71 Blackbird figure is said to be a homage to the G1 Silverbolt character that has a transforming nosecone to weapons feature, a cockpit that opens in Jet mode, his removable jet thrusters, and more. See the Uranos SR-71 Blackbird below now. Read the Full News Story Here

Well this is the figure that I think TFC kind of missed on. At first I thought it was cool it was a SR-71 Blackbird, but the more and more I see this figure the more I don't like the plane choice. The paint scheme looks weird on it since we ALL know that this plane is Black. I know I know this paint scheme is because Silverbolt was this color, but he was also a concord. I kind of wish they redo this guy and make him a more modern plane. I think they should use the Cobra Night Raven, either the 80s version or the new movie version and allow for the drone on the top. That plane is way more modern than this one. I guess I agree with MikePrime because that was his original issue when this figure was announced in Prototype form a ways back. For some reason it didn't bother me then, but now it does. It is probably because it reminds me of the ROTF Jetfire, which I hated and also because of the 3rd party Overlord that used the newest Night Raven mold looks awesome.

I guess since there have been more Gestalts announced and more Masterpiece figures, this guy has lost his lusture a little with me. I still will get the entire set because I no longer have my FP Superion set and want a Superion in my Show. Maybe once this guy is in my hands I will have a different feeling, but he is rather expensive and I don't have the same excitement I have for this team that I did with the TFC Hercules, which has left me wanting a little......I just did a total :emo
