I would love to See Nemeis Prime (toy and/or anime pics) slightly recoloured digitally. I want the brownish areas (legs, horns, etc) to be repainted either:

 

1/ the same colour but a dark "ink wash" effect, showing all the details. Black/brown/purple or any other dark ink effect (digitally) would be great. If you dodnt know what I mean by "inking" its when, in model painting, a diluted amount of water-based ink is applied over a textured painted surface. The ink glazes the colour on the raised areas slightly but collects in all the nooks and crannies giving the impression of "shadow" or "weathered" effects. Armada Thrust had this style effect on his wings.

 

2/ The brown areas either repainted grey (NOT silver), dark Blue, dark Purple or any other colour that you think would go well.

 

3/ A Decepticon (silver G1 decal sticker) in the area the maximal symbol on chest is.

 

If anyone could do this for me I would be happy as a pig in muck. Im interested in buying Universe Nemesis Prime but the brownish cream areas are just close to Big Convoys colour scheme and I dont think they go well with the rest of the Nemesis toy very well.

 

Anything that gives a more sinister, "Decepticon General" feel without being too similar to every other "Scourge" would be great. If you have to change any other details in order to get the colour balance (the red bits etc) would be ok too.

 

If anyone out there is up to the task, please show me what uv got!

Ive pasted togther some ideas. Here you can see the "granddaddy2 of all the "Nemesis Primes", sotospeak, which is a combination of Megatron and Optimus.

 

Perhaps the dark grey parts, instead of the cream parts, could be like that?

 

Ive also, rather crudely, digipainted two colour ideas for the brown cream parts in blue and grey to get anyone started.

Interesting idea, is this the premise for a repaint if you get your hands on the universe nemesis prime, or do you just want to see how it looks? I may start working on it later on today, or tomorrow if I find the time and see what comes out.

Thanks! Kkeep the ideas coming! Im looking for various "evil" colour schemes that change the cream/brown areas to make Nemesis stand out from Scourge, previous Armada Nemesis and Big Convoy.

 

And yes, Im looking to get my hands on a Nemesis in order to do some minor repainting and give him a nice Decepticon Symbol on his chest. I think a silver backed G1 Decepticon symbol wuld be great!

 

I also like the way uve combined light and dark grey for the legs..but Im thinking of keeping all the parts that are grey/silver/black the same as the original release...but maybe more "Megatron" stuff would look cool on him (especially the legs (not thighs)?

 

Anyone else got any ideas?
