I mean, what was the point of this autonomous little buggy that came with Prime's trailer (which was awol most of the time) what was "his" purpose.

I think he is referred to as a scout, but as I recall he had no weapons, the other scouts (hound comes to mind) had a gun, and was a transformer :wtf. other than the "it came with diaclone prime" answer what was the point of this little bugger, I mean he was on the cartoon once as I recall... any thoughts?

He had a wepon you could attach Primes gun or a gas pump to the hole in his back.

In the toon he was used to get into small places, I guess most of the time he was playing cards with Trailer and ratchets repear bay back at the ark.

He was prime scout. A unit without weapons that might give him away. I guess he could blend in where others couldn't. Ack, n/m X-bob got to before me.

I have several humorous answeres, but of a more graphic nature for this.

But, ill be silent, and let you all imagine....

well he was in 2 eps actually...but I digress...

Prime was a big guy, so if on solo missions he could use Roller to go where he couldn't. Prime was considered to have 3 parts, so roller would be an extension of his consiousness in a way.

his purpose was in the diaclone line where prime came with little men who would ride in roller

Roller is Prime's remote eyes, he has the same function in that like how Energon Prime tends to send off his OP2 helicopter drone.

What is the deal with Megatrons Tank in Energon? I have only see 15 total minutes of Energon so I wouldn't know what it does, if anything.

It's Name is Megalauncher.

Galvatron Upgraded his Sword after the Omni-cons copied it, It is just there to hold his swoard and occasionaly he uses it as a blaster.
