It appears the Transformers Prime debut of Smokescreen is followed by a bit of news that he will very likely be getting an action figure from our good friends at Takara Tomy. According to some details listed on TF Wiki, there will be an AM-26 Arms Micron Smokescreen coming to Japan that will be a repaint and retool of the deluxe class Knock Out toy on November 24, 2012. Read the full details on the soon to be released AM-26 Arms Micron Smokescreen. Read the Full News Story Here

A retool of the crapfest that is the Knockout toy... really Takara? I expected better, guess Smokescreen will not be getting a US release afterall.

I was hoping for an original mold then a Hot Rod repaint of it

Based on the character design I saw...this was exactly what I expected. I actually like the knockout mold....I like it better than a BB repaint...:tfevil

Anything is better than another BB repaint :P
