Needed: G1 Perceptor parts: Chest tray and mirror

Recommended Posts

I need two parts to complete my Perceptor (G1). He is missing the little mirror part that fits into his blue pelvic holder arm. He is also missing his chest tray (also located near the missing mirror piece).

These are hard to locate, even on eBay, unless I want to dismantle a perfectly good Perceptor figure. What's the point?

Anyone have these parts for sale?

Not to be a downer, but I think you will be better off finding a replacement. Lots of G1 toys have random parts floating around ebay, guns, missiles, etc. But the parts you asked for dont seem like the usual parts you would see listed on ebay. Just to clarify, you are looking for vintage right? Not reissue.

But what do I know??? lol

Ebay can be such a pisser sometimes. I pieced together a Trypticon a few months ago through a few different auctions. I though I had found myself a "deal" by getting different parts cheaper than someone selling a complete bot. I knew I shouldnt do it, but after he arrived I went back and searched ebay again, only to find better deals. I learned to have patience with ebay, and not jump at the first thing I saw. So you could get what you need, but it will take some patience.

Yeah you may be right. But I love the thought of saving an old figure by putting pieces back together. Trouble is, I suspect perfectly good Transformers are being dismantled to sell parts separately for profit.
