[For Sale[ HELP ME PLEASE FOR PRIMUS SAKE

Too late. Buyer contacted customer support. I just hope they put him in his place.

I still think that dude is BSing about it being damaged.

He showed me pictures of the crushed shipping box and the popped seam on Roddy's box. He says the toy itself is fine. I think he's making a fuss over nothing too, and/or scamming me, but I'd rather just give him the partial refund. If it escalates and eBay sides with the motherfrakker and charges me for a full refund, I'll have to make not only what he paid, but the overdraft fee as well just to get back to zero. And from what I've heard, after eBay overhauled their system instead of making things balanced and fair they swung from biased in favor of sellers to biased in favor of buyers, so that's the likely outcome. Look what happened to clickclash recently.

Can you post pics of what he sent? Also, what is his name on eBay? You might want to check his feedbacks and see if he tried this on someone else.

The dude is obviously just trying to get away with paying retail. Tell him to ship it back. You said you shipped the item in one layer of bubble wrap and then placed it inside a box full of crushed paper. Once it leaves your hands, you have no control over the item.

I hope you didn't give him part of what he asked for.

UNless he paid for insurance for the figure, you shouldn-t have to pay fuck all to him/her. THat's why insurance is an option, because packages can get damaged in the post, and that's NOT your fault

The shipping box itself isn't that badly crushed. Roddy's box is damaged at the seam there on the bottom. I've tried arguing him out of it but he won't listen.

No, I haven't given him anything yet. And no, he didn't pay for insurance, and according to you guys then shipping damage is out of my hands. But will eBay see it that way? According to this page:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/pay/shipping-problems.html

the seller is still responsible until the buyer receives the package whether it's insured or not.

If you have pics of the figures box before it was damaged, then by all means send the sender a pic of it undamaged. Then tell him he CAN try and resolve it via Ebay, but since you have the proof it wasn't damaged by you, I'm sure they'd actually rule in your favor

I had someone pull that stunt on me. Item arrived and the box was damaged, the box was damaged before it left my house and it was noted in the auction of its condition, but the item was in perfect condition. Dude gets the item and wants a discount and a refund of shipping costs. He finally ends up sending it back because I refused to do a refund, and once I got the item back I refunded the guys money and then he left me shitty feedback.

That's the item undamaged. That was the listing photo. That's how it was when I shipped it.

Too bad you didn't take a picture of the back.

If you look at that dude's eBay purchases, he has been buying alot of Hot Rods and Rodimus Figures. He could possibly be showing you a box from a different purchase made a long time ago. In the pic he sent you, the edge of the box looks faded. That doesn't look like a new box to me. I keep my MP boxes in good condition and none of them have that. So if you kept yours inside that bubble wrap the whole time you had it, it wouldn't have that fade.
