Just exchanged two pack Hoist and Mixmaster because Mix had a problem with an arm that looked like it was about to break due to a plkastic piece in his arm that was pinned together and Hoist was soooo loose. So I found a Toys in my area that had some in stock and exchanged them. Happy to have them again I opened the box...I think I should have kept the other set. Now mixmaster just dosent stand on his own at all?? Smoke stacks and tanks wobbely and loose in ALL DIRECTIONS?? Even the cab that laid nicely on the back of my first Mixmaster now just flies all ove the place on this one!

I don't want to think I'm anal at all or going through shell shock but is it too much to ask for a perfect set?? Makes me leary about returning for another set! Seriously QC, WT#!

An update, checking Mixmaster over now I've discovered that the peg to the front cab that connects the cab to the rods that are supposed to make it flush to his body is ...BROKEN! What pompicity is this you say? Broken??

Yes friends, broken. Yet another wasted trip to ToysRUs to find yet another pair. Damn you Hasbro and ToysRUs! Thats why I hate two packs!

This is happening alot now. The rodimus 2 pack I just got at walmart has several stress marks. Maybe Hasbro is using cheaper plastic

OOoooh don't tell me that. I was thinking of getting these guys just because of Cyclonus! Hot Rod is starting to grow on me a lot too and Stress marks you say? Garh!!

I wouldn't be surprised that they are using cheaper plastic on such releases. Take the latest release of Piranacon.

I think that release being such a horrendous failure is due to both cheaper plastic and mold degradation.

As for the Rodimus 2 pack, how else can ya get two TF's for 20 bucks plus a matrix.

All speculation on my part of course.

I can see what you are saying but take my rodimus for instance the part that is holding his right arm almost looks like its going to break off. As for the matrix thats the third one I have I could have done without it if it meant a better quality figure.

CARTOON ACCURATE REPAINTS!!

Just got the set but haven't opened it yet but I really think this set looks cool! What material is the Matrix made out of? WIll open them up tonight which means that I'll be buying Protector to have both a Hot Rod and Rodimus Prime and because they look so different, it brings a lot more playability to them both. I was wondering though, The Matrix...metal or plastic? Hopefully metal?

my hot rod two pack is great, not even any paint issues.

as for mixmaster and what not, i'd just return it and save the money.

I wish I could have Timothy. Got another set and I think I'm going to stay with this one because I still love the molds but MM STILL keeps being a bit wobbily and the paint issue I had with him was solved with good old Alcohol!

BTW got the Hot Rod Cyclonus set and LOVE them but as for Hot Rod he just wins and fails on so many different levels. Love the paint job, the figure himself is fantastic and gives me a reason to make my Cl Rodimus into Protector as soon as I can aquire the set but on RTS Hot Rod, he seems to just fail because of the painted window bit. WOuld have liked to see Translucent ones like on his predessesor. It looks like he STILL has molded seat details judging from the back too.

Now just what was that mod that got the windows to lift to reveal the cockpit? ^_^
