Buy a balljoint set from hobby link japan maybe? they sell balls and sockets for this kinda projects

Are there any particular types that would be better than others that you'd recommend?

-HobbyLink sells some cool kits for all kinds of parts / accessories, though are closer to model strength (from what I've seen)

 

-Xevoz parts can often be had for cheap & are quite solid; just have to find parts that'll fit.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!! Xevoz! I remember these! Wish these were still being sold in stores though. I was a big fan of them. Anyone think Bionicle parts would work? I have to find Xevoz!!
