Human Alliance Bumblebee

Recommended Posts

So I went out and gotten a GREAT deal on Human Alliance Bumblebee and Sideswipe. Both are fantastic figures but after transforming Bee I found that Human Alliance Bumblebee's head keeps popping off after turning his head a little towards the right shoulder and even while putting on his battle helmet visor. Quite a bit frusterating and annoying but I still love the figure. I was wondering if anyone has had the same problems and how you might have went about fixing the situation. Not too sure if it's a quick fix thing like nail polish but then again...

Any help would be fantastically appriciated! ^_^

Thanks in advance!

If that's happening, you may find there's some excess flash stil either on the balljoint for the head, or even the socket it goes into. Have a good look at both piese and take a knife to any excess plastic that might be forcing the head out of joint.

Hope this helps

Thanks Sparkless! A hobby knife will do am I right? Was wondering if I should file it down with something.

A hobby knife will do if you just have to shave a piece off, yeah. If it´s the baljoint that has the problem, then a file should do, yeah

Looked it over and the ball joint looks pretty good. Didn't notice an oblong ball or anything. But then again, i don't have a lot of good light today because it's been drery here all day. Will look into it tomorrow morning and see what I can see. Any other swuggestions?

Hey! If you transform him into car mode you don't notice the problem! Sigh, Hasbro. LOL!

ok if there isn't any spare flash in or on the joint, then I suggest popping out the ball joint and putting a few layers of nail polish at the lip of the socket. That way it will make it more difficult for the joint to come out. If that doesn't hold, then you might need to the same thing but instead just put a thin layer of super glue at the lip "let it completely dry before reassembling the joint!"

Superglue would be better to use than nail varnish- Nail varnish goes brittle and cracks off after a while, well as superglue lasts a lot longer
