Just want to give a shoutout to Hasbro During SDCC 2010

Recommended Posts

So on 21 July 2010 preview night of San Diego Comic-Con International 2010 I picked up a "Autobot Blaster" figure. Well things were so crazy that night I never had the chance to really look at the figure. It wasnt until the evening of the 23rd (second official day of the con) That I sat down at home and really started to check out my swag and the exclusives I had so far picked up. When I got to Blaster I pulled the box out of the sleave and when I opened up the front pannel low and behold a pretty significant tear in the upper right hand corner. So I put every thing back the way I found it, double checked I had my reciept and went back to the con the next day. When the doors opened up I headed straight for the booth. I talked to the person at their information table, she didn't even ask for my reciept. She took the figure disapeared into their little storage area and came back with four different blasters. She let me go through all four and let me pick the one I wanted. Now THAT is customer service and during a busy con. I have nothing but praise for the Hasbro team.

I have a love, hate for Hasbro.......My main thing is how much they made of the Tfs(Bays crap) line and yet we are still paying almost $12 for a deluxe.

Fuk a shoutout to Hasbro!

I am generally pleased with almost everything Hasbro does. I know they cant all be winners, they're learning too and a few duds in a line make the gems shine all the more brighter I think.

Take PCCs, I dont really like them but I like the idea behind them. I feel like if they continued to improve down the line that there is some great potential, but right now my interest in actually purchasing them is nil.

I also think they give Bay a little too much room to do what he wants with the design. Sometimes they are just completely absurd but Liege did make a point that sticks with me: the Bay designs challenged the Hasbro team to make complicated and interesting bots so there is a bright side to every (most) draw backs it seems. Its certainly better then getting more A/E/C bricks.
