The brand is looking forward to the debut of the new, original "Transformers Prime" animated series coming to The Hub cable television network this fall and is also celebrating the launch of the global HUNT FOR THE DECEPTICONS promotion and recent release of the Transformers: War for Cybertron video game from Activision. Additionally, the TRANSFORMERS brand is welcoming Alex Irvine, author of the new novel, Transformers: Exodus, to the Hasbro booth for a one hour autograph signing session starting at 11:00am on Saturday, July 24. This is all well and good for the people who can make it out there and I can say with no sarcasm whatsoever that I'm happy for them. That said, I live in Illinois and will be attending Wizard World 2010 Chicago on August 21st. Do we have any idea if Hasbro will be doing anything out here? There's a lot of dedicated TFans in the Midwest who would make the trip just for that. I know I'd love to get my copy of Exodus signed. Hell, Alex Irvine could go ahead and put the ol' Hancock on my WFC game case, too.

 

C'mon guys, if you live in the Midwest make yourselves known! Maybe if we make enough noise get some Hasbro love! It's worth a try at least. Why should the coasts have all the fun? My ultimate goal Bot Con Chicago! We can do it in 2012!
