as much as i am for customs....um....why are you trying to pass if off as rare? It's not rare - it's unique. It's a custom job. Just say it how it is...don't try and spruce it up by telling us it's all Rare and whatnot. Other than that, nice custom - i'm impressed only by the package resealing tho.

Ummm....that is because it is rare...I don't quite know how much you know about Marvel Legends figures...but this particular piece is made in a lesser quantity than the regular/original Marvel Legends Mr. Fantastic figure. All variants are....Look at the Beast Variant w/ Lab Coat figure, compared to the regular Beast Marvel Legends, or the Dr Doom Doombot Variant figures...Hope this helps...Thanx for the good question.

They're not rare, they're part of a FF giftset which uses variants such as the ones you said. And this giftsets are rather easy to find. You just took them out of the box and resealed them in its own card. This does not make it rare. I may be a TF collector, but ML's widely popular here so I know every single variant and chase figure. Lab Coat Beast is also not rare, just one of the toys included in the X-Men giftset.

i can go into walmart and fall over and hit one of the giftsets with labcoat beast or mr fantastic. They are hugely abundant.

 

Just because they are part of a set doesn't mean they are rare...

 

Granted the DoomBot was rare, that's because it was a CHASE...not part of a giftset....maskless wolvie version 1 was a chase, version 2 came in a giftset...
