Tonight I won 2 eBay auctions for 2 R.I.D. two packs.

 

The first was Skid-Z & Skyfire. The second was Tow-Line & Wind Sheer. I got them because I am a huge fan of plane Transformers and both Skyfire and Wind Sheer looks really cool being purple and black respectively.

 

With Tow-Line and Skid-Z, it also means that I now own all of the show characters from R.I.D. So that makes it a cool buy. :thumb

 

Anyways, I was wondering what you guys thought, is 15 Euro per 2 pack too much? 6 Euro in shipping needs to be added to that.

 

One must take in account that shipping from the US would cost around $10-$15 and that figures in this size class used to cost 15 Euro over here. So in that respect, I am only paying slightly more than the store price.

 

And my last question, the seller also has Beast Changer (loose but in good condition) on eBay for 15 Euro or 20 Direct buy. Quite expensive, I know.

 

It is a figure I have been interested in for quite awhile though. Mostly because of his spark crystal which is said to be a merge between a Maximal and Vehicon one.

 

Does anyone have this figure and know if he is worth that kind of money.

well, hes a show character, so that definalty makes him a must have in my book.

And if you dont know the plot from BeastMachines, then I dotn wasnt to spoil it for you. In the show, he was Savage/Noble.

I have seen Beast Machines. Sadly downloaded as the show was never aired in my country.

 

I also happen to know that he is renamed Beast Changer due to legal reasons but they did say on the packaging Transforms from Noble Wolf into Savage Beast. :tftongue

 

It is just the price that bugs me a little. 20 Euro is a lot of money and I could get an Energon Mega for that. I could try bidding for 15.00 but then there is the risk that someone will outbid me.

It's very nice but I wouldn't pay THAT much for it.

I got mine in a sale a couple of years ago for £2.99!! :tflaugh

Have been looking at reviews and all say that it is a great Transformer.

 

It is a unique idea and nicely executed as well. As we all know, it is really hard to make a Transformer that changes from one beast into another.

 

Noble is (as far as I can tell) a much better toy than the Beast Wars Mutants of which I own 2.

 

Sadly he is no longer sold so he will be rather expensive. That is the darn problem with Transformers. Some are just really hard to come by. :tdown

 

And I should really watch my cash. Just purchased the G1 Micromaster Battle Squad for $20. They were MOC :clap and only $10. The other $10 was for shipping. :tfmad

Well, I thought about it for a long time and finally decided.

 

I would get Noble. Afterall he is a toy I have been intrigued by for a really long time. At times a toy dissapoints me but based on reviews I think it is a great toy.

 

Rightfully so. It is quite a feat to have 2 cool (and show accurate) beast modes in one toy. And red, blue and purple are cool colors. :tftongue

 

I did not buy him from the Dutch seller though. I found him MOC on eBay and he was just a few Euro's more expensive. But now I got him MOC + another feedback point. :tfgrin

 

The seller also has Thrust on sale. He costs $18 but he is a show character and a nice looking toy. May get him as well. What do you think of Thrust?

 

Had a lot of change in a jar and I thought I should use that for Noble. :clap

yeah, definitely get Noble/Savage. Its great. I used to have one before my friend lit it on fire :redface

They still have one and it is priced at $20.00. Not very cheap but I am betting he is one of the rarer Beast Machines figures.

 

One unrelated question. Does anyone have Beast Machines Megatron. What kind of spark crystal does he have? Predacon or vehicon. And what color. Just curious.
