Early Megatron Sword

I've been working on this custom for about 2 weeks and finally found time to finish it up.

The sword is a repro of the actual figure's sword. The port was taken from a Command Ravage (i needed to get an extra to replace parts on a Desert Jag who fell victim to USPS.)

Also, if you notice, the port has a ring around the case. This is indeed the shoulder shield from the Command Ravage, only hollowed out to recieve the energon port. The decepticon symbol is also inside the port.

The sword was first primed, then painted, then a coat of varnish was applied (miniature painting varnish.) I then put on the custom port I created.

VIOLA! The sword is complete. Now Scorponok (and really anyone else who has a copy of the sword) can fight as he should.

Hope you enjoy it :)

edit : BTW, the sword was painted to resemble both the show sword AND the toy sword. The toy was based off that mold, so that was only natural. The blade markings however resemble the show sword.

a bit short but other than that great!

yeah, it is short, but that's because i used the regular megatron sword from the energon series as the main part. I can scuplt, but not that well..else i would have increased the length. Trust me, the idea was there...heh.
