Energon Toy Unicron and cartoon Unicron different?

Recommended Posts

I've just watched the latest episode of Transformers Energon in the UK and it had Unicron not moving but just sitting in space - in his original Armada colours. I saw his all messed up 2D smashed black planet mode in the first few episodes but I figured that he was going to end up being black even when he was powered up with Energon etc, like Hasbro's toy. Can anyone who has seen later episodes say if Unicron's robot mode at any point resembles the black toy's robot mode? Or did Hasbro just release him without even watching the cartoon?

The Energon Unicron toy reflects how Unicron looked at the end of Armada. In the show, he retains his Armada color scheme.

Why? Probably just a coloring inconsistency...

Oh, and welcome to TFans. :clap

Thanks...

As for Unicron - I'm wondering if he'll get yet another redeco for the 'Powerlinx' battles. Guess Hasbro just thought 'Hey, the guy's covered in black. Let's slap some black paint on and make the rest up.'

I was under the impression In the latter energon/superlink eps, the toy does indeed become show accurate..

The Greyish Univcron you saw was dead, once he is revieved he is Black and ornge with battle damage.

That isn't true.

At the end of Armada, he was orange and gray.
