What happened to OTFCC?

Recommended Posts

I cannot figure out what happeened to the OTFCC.

Will we ever see our exclusive from the convention?

Who will take over the convention?

My son collects Transformers and we have

attended the convention since 1999.

I have been unable to figure out what happened....

anyone have a qiuck synopsis?

well first, that's really cool that you are taking an active part in your son's interests, don't see that often enough in this day and age. Second, right now the Hasbro withdrew their endorsement, and 3H productions filed bankrupcy. Hopefully Hasbro will take over on getting the exclusives to those who ordered them. Current rumors are saying the company that has handled the G.I.Joe conventions (man, we'll collect ANYTHING! lol) may take over, and even merge the conferences...most of us (myself included) really don't want that...but now it's up in the air.

Thanks Starscream...

We knew there has been alot of unhappiness with 3H productions...a lot of disappointment on our part for what could have been a fun collectors club. Also a lot of frustration waiting and waiting for the collectors magazine and PVC characters. We have been looking on multiple sites to see if we could figure out what happened.(who is responsible for the continual delays and bankrupcy?) Any chance the guys from BOTCON will take over?....We will miss that special touch of the rabid Transformer fan/collector planning the yearly convention.

I believe this year's BotCon was the last one, but I guess anything is possible. But yeah, 3H basically dropped the ball by falling behind on sending out all the exclusives on time, along with going bankrupt. So Hasbro decided to take their business elsewhere. Hopefully, those that have ordered the merch will get it, or at least a refund.

Yeah it's really a shame how things played out....I guess all we can do now is wait and see what Hasbro does to try and fix the situation.

By the way that's a very cool name you there optimusmom. :thumb
