Is the SL Galvatron toy to scale with what was intended in the Superlink/Energon cartoon? By comparing the shots seen here on TFans of the Energon and Superlink molds with the screen caps seen here on TFormers, this does indeed appear to be the case.

SL Galvotron seems to be the correct scale when compared to the other Decepticons. But in the cartoon he and Supermode Prime look to be about the same size which would make Energon Megatron the correct scale. So I guess it depends on if you'd rather he be to scale when compared to his underlings or his enemies.

This is Transformers we're talkin about. :) Other than BT/Alt, no strict scale has ever been adhered to in the toys or toon.

 

Heck the Energon weapons, Megatron Sword, and Energon Saber all change sizes.

I'd say the Decepticons are the ones closer in size to Megatron while Megatron matches up to Prime SM

Hmm, the decepticons are too small. Anyway's I'll be importing the SL Galv since I don't have/want Optimus Prime and it'll be more to scale with my other decepticons.

From watching Super Link eps I must say that there is no constant size. In ep 5 you notioce that Cyclonus is right in front of Megatron and Megatron's head is huge. You also notice that he is quite smaller than Megatron. Now in ep 6 he's up to Megatron's chest!

 

So there is no size consistency in this series. But going by "toys" I think I have to say that it goes both ways. Want to be in scale with all the figure except Prime? Get SL version. Want to be in scale with Prime and screw the rest of the toys get Hasbro. Personally I think BOTH companies got what they wanted for the great Decepticon leader this time around.

I’d much rather prefer Galvatron on scale and matching in color and transformation the movie version.

I can't wait to get Megatron later tonight.

Is it my imagination or does it look like the SL Galvatron is a different size than the Energon Galvatron/Megatron?
