Near the beginning, an energy source was born. Unlike other energy sources, this was limitless and contained a constance of atomic reactions, that restructured and broke down. The energy source drifted through the infantile universe. As it drifted, aeons passed and worlds were born. As the worlds were lifeless and cold, the energy source drifted to each of them, creating stars to warm them. These stars were nurtured through time and would grow. Eventually, mighty suns were created from the infant stars that nurtured and spread warmth to the many planets and their fledgling lifeforms. The tiny energy source finally settled within a universe. As the planets near it, rich with irons, hydrogens, and gasses bore life, so did the energy source. Being the oldest, it had too evolved. It had evolved, but not in the way that lifeforms had. They now existed to further generations, and ensure their survival, but not the Energy source...The energy source eventually grew into the largest and most powerful sun the universe had ever witnessed. As it grew, so did it's galaxy. Life was born on the 12 planets, and 46 moons that surrounded it. The closest to it's feiry surface soon found themselves not being able to sustaine life and all the living were vanished. As the years passed, the planets began to reshape and remold, primarly iron-based, in response to being near the burning sun so closely, almost galvanized in their appearance and structures. A day had come when the blazing sun had evolved enough that it began to witness it's universe. Being the oldest existing energy source in any universe, it had grown to immeasurable sizes. But as all suns, it soon began to burn out, growing weaker and weaker. Suddenly, in the first blink of sentience, the sun went nova....an immense black hole was created in it's place, pulling and sucking in all of the planets surrounding it, which by this time, had all become iron-based because of the blazing temperatures. As the mass melted and molecules were destroyed, the Vortex molded a new world. A planet of iron. For aeons more, the planet of iron grew and its surface doubled, re-arranging itself and constantly heating , and recooling, until one day...it was simply gone. The black hole had vanished, and with it, the universe's most powerful sun and its many planets and moons.

 

Since then, there are stories of a dark God that roams the galaxies, striving to steal back from the universe, what it gave...Energy. Pledging to destroy all life that it bore through the ages from its own warmth. The God exists, but not on our temporal plane. Pulled to another end of the universe, it travels through our own using temporal means..spying and searching for immense energy sources to fuel it's core. The dark God, in it's paranoia and frenzy, devours anything in it's path to wither the feeling deep inside that it is so haunted by, the feeling that it too will burn out. Many reports have been recieved of planets attacked and devoured by this machine of death, while none have been able to harm its surfaces. Existing in a different temporal plane than our own renders its' interactivity with ours mute, BUT the huge hole at the head of the iron planet acts as a gateway, a moving worm hole, that has the ability to breach time and space, and pull in matter from any other temporal plane it witnesses, while the victims, residing in the plane that the God does not, have no way of defending themselves, as they cannot interact with the iron mass, other than through means of digestion. Though the planet seems enormous while witnessed by it's victims, it is actually MUCH larger in it's own reality. The reality in which it exists is much smaller than our own, but when witnessed temporally, it appears larger, but if and when it physically appears in our universe, it is much smaller and vulnerable to damage, being our universe is much larger than it's own, and that it is heavily subjective to the laws of relativity.

 

The matrix of leadership is a smaller replica of this being. Designed with the same guidelines as the iron God, at the head of it too lies a small gateway through temporal planes. It is this reason alone that the God seeks out the Matrix. Once the jewel sets inside are dispelled, a rift occurrs between the temporal fabric that sends a quantum rift INTO the center of the iron God. Once empty, the matrix container can serve as a trap or housing unit for the birthspark that resides in the iron God, if the occassion should arrive that his physical body be destroyed.
