anyways to the matter at hand. i recently had a look at the new animated swoop, and had the idea of converting it , with sculpting and some repainting, into a beast machines alike silverbolt.

 

so, i have a swoop in the post and my sculpting tools all ready, so, any ideas, comments or whatever are greatly appreciated :win

Welcome to TFormers! It might be a nice idea to show us some pics of what you have in mind. You could take a pic of your swoop (or download and use a pic from google image search) and digibash it to show us what a mock-up would look like. Dont worry if you cant draw. Just use MS paint and use whatever randomly-colured blobs to show us what goes where in your imagined idea.

as for ideas well maybe you could take a look at universe cheetor for the animal legs and try and find some wolf toy to bulk out the chest and for the head.

I think he means BM, not BW Silverbolt :P

 

 

 

I can see how the robot modes are very similar in their aesthetic and think this could actually come off pretty nice :thumb

hey thanks for your thoughts guys. the figure should hopefully arrive in the next few days, and i have all my sculpting materials ready and waiting

 

and yes i did mean the beastmachines silverbolt, the figure they released for him was awful so i thought it would be nice to have a decent looking one. i do have the original figure, and once i have the swoop for comparison i might see if there are any parts i can modify from one to the other.

 

i'll be adding pics when i have a bit of progress :)
