Hey all, hows it going fellow TFans, anyway why oh why does this have to happen. Whenever we hear of a new Alternator name, ther is somebody who has to complain that the name should go with the right car. Take for example the new Alternator Dragstrip, a responder said that he'd buy it just to get It but that he should've been an Indy car and re-paint It into Mirage. I beleive that the discussion to have an Indy car Alternator happened already, with the outcome being that It would be too much price wise to have one. But yet these people keep saying he should've been an Indy car, he should've been a Lamborghini, he should've been a Porsche. I am getting sick and tired …

Im just curious as to why is prime commanding so much in the book style case vs other packaing? I mean seriously they are going for over 230 bucks or more for the book style vs other reissues...just odd to me...when someone said they only cost 75 bucks when they first came out.

It all comes down to Ops classic mouthplate. In the comics, you can't really draw someone facially "losing it", if half their face is covered. Yet we have Rodimus showing the classic leadership blunder - anger. If you're angry it means they've gotten to you, and I think that's why we've always (apart from script-writing him that way) seen him as weaker; less that Optimus. Simply put, as children we probably (at a subconcious level) noted that anger is a weakness, and order and self control always smiles or does what has to be done, with narrow eyes and a furrowed brow. Just a thought.

Alright, this is picking up from another thread, but because of it's dichotomy from the original topic, I thought to start a new one. I've seen numerous mentions in differing threads over the past year about how Rodimus Prime was a poor/crappy leader. Whenever I'd see these comments I'd usually brush over them as I too liked the leadership qualities that Optimus Prime possessed and there was certainly sentimental value in Optimus. But I recently had an opportunity to sit and watch all of Season 3 of the original series and I came out of it with a different perspective. If they are gona use Gary Chalk/David Kaye for Cybertron again, They will be forever known for those 2 characters, well to TF fans. When RiD premiered, it was a breath of fresh air for someone different to do Optimus/Megs. RiD's Optimus is almost dead on with Peter Cullen's Optimus. But i still cant picture Gary and David as the new Optimus and Megs when Armada/Energon came on.

As I walked in TRU today to aquire a Cybertron figure or two I found out why we cant have just plain old Devestator as a name, SUPER SOAKER OWNS IT!!!! and its not even that good of a squirt gun. WE LOST A GREAT TRANSFORERS NAME TO A SQUIRT GUN?!?!?! ..::breath:: .. ok im ok now.

aside from wearing that silly viking helmet, Unicron also gave funny hats to the decepticons that he reformated. Cyclonus had those bunny ears, Scourge had a hose nozzel on his head, and Galvatron had those long cow horns. maybe the chaos bringer had a weird sense of humor :tflaugh
