All Transformers, all the time -- from Generation 1 to "Animated", Michael Bay's Transformers franchise, and beyond.

  1. Started by HBD,

My mom has babysat a little boy since almost the week he was born, and I've always tried my best to corrupts him. Because of me, he's addicted to video games, TV, and toys. Now he's almost 12, and he still comes over to play Legend of Zelda. Well, I showed him Divebomb, Battle Ravage, and Ricochet when I got them, and he was hooked. Constantly transforming them, asking about them, asking what show they're from, etc. And today, when he came over, he proudly showed me his purchase over the weekend, Alt Silverstreak. Hopefully, he'll start watching the shows too...anything to take him away from Pokemon, which was his last "addiction". :tftongue

Anyone else remeber back in the good old days when toys were shown not with some dumb simple picture, but amazing artwork on the back of the boxes? There was the whole string of G1 toys: G1 backer Dino Riders: A pic from toy archive and GI Joe: Pic from Yo Joe I think they phased out when CG art became big. Around the time Beast Wars came in the old school went out and we saw CG artwork and a mix of normal Photos of the toys on the boxes and cards. Sure there are a few toys here and there but it's not the same. Whatever happened to the days of overhyping a toy with great artwork and then dashing the childs dream with a simple toy?!

Okay guys I need a link from you all(Canadians included). Here is the situation, I have all of the Hasbro re-issues except Sideswipe, what I want to know is can anybody give me a link to a site that sells the USA re-issue Sideswipe. Bear in mind I do not, I repeat do not want the Takara version, I want the USA version, so I can keep my USA Hasbro re-issues up to date, besides it would look out of place with the Takara box among all the Hasbro boxes. Any help would be appreciated(looks directly at all the Canadian members).
