Upgrades

Just recently, Sam's Allspark shard props went into display last ComicCon USA. There were two prop sizes displayed. One was around 2.5" actual size prop. The second was a supersized, much more detailed version used for close-up shots.With them as reference I was able to make an accurate and extremely detailed Allspark Shard replica in actual 2.5" size but with the supersize detail. Its made of solid casted pewter metal. The carvings are chemically darkened to achieve its characteristic weathered finish (I used no paint).My most favorite part are the carving details. For anyone who has energon cliffjumper, you know that you have to use the yellowthings as shoulder pads in his uper body poerlinx mode. bUt what i did instead was use the yellow things as a chest protect by lowering then down and and attaching them. If some one understands what i'm saying, please post pics because i have no camera. P.S. Make the pants ironhides.

i just picked up a BT red meister today and was wondering if its possible to swap zoom zooms head for windchargers, i wanna do this to get a more g1 accurate overdrive or whatever his name is, also is it possible to place either smokescreens or hounds head on to deadend because im hoping to turn it into wildrider, with smokescreens head i was thinking of cutting the antenas of and attacthing the tips to the side of the head to give wildriders horns, and with hound i was just thinking of adding little spikes, so are these head swaps possible ?

A black and blue figure for a grey and purple character? *facepalm* This is the only show-accurate purple custom I've seen so far and also my first custom in 13 months! I wanted to paint this toy before I even bought it but I was just too busy doing other things. Before painting I needed to improve the range of motion in the knees and modify the gun so it attaches to the robot in a more show-accurate way. I've tried for CGI accurate colours but some might say he's a bit too light, however, after seeing them in day sunlight in later episodes I think I've done quite well. Although some people may have preferred them black or dark grey, as far as I can see the sunk…
