  1. Started by STPrime,

radioshack So I was in radioshack buying a microphone the other day, and I came across these kits that are 1:28 scale. They have starter kits, but also sets that are rims, hoods, front ends, and backends. I know that they are smaller, but do you think with a little filling they could work. I don't want to chop up one of my customs and it not work, but i found a kit for the '05 Stang that had a mod that looked almost like a '69 that would totally kick ass on my Alt Megs. So I guess my question is, how much size difference is 1:28 from 1:24?

  2. Started by Garage Mod,

Head is now posable, on a metal ball joint and magnet, new arms on rare earth magnets, can store on back. Tail can turn into scythe, tentacle arm, or snake, wings can turn into shield arm, blade can replace arm. Tail can dangle in alt mode or can magnet attach to metal ball that doesn't have any use at rear of jet nose. Could've made the tentacle arm gimmick into an extending arm or blade whip, but it was a little too ridiculous. View the Custom Gallery Here

Vile custom with arms with gun pods, gun barrels flip out. Looks kind of like Starscream weapons. Decided it made the whole figure too busy, so he just has the original set of arms. The gun barrels will probably be used for finishing touches on Project Galvatron. View the Custom Gallery Here

not sure to put it here or non-TFs. as i said in Fanfic...Bionicle/Technic (lego) can make some great mechanical wildlife (not to endorse another toy company). when i can use a camera... i'll show some of my made-ups (as i wasn't alive to see the reals). but you can give it a whirl and show them Here!!!! (or wherever this should be)

  7. Started by Garage Mod,

My take on ROTF Bumblebee. Pretty much just a boring straight repaint, but I decided to dirty up the robot parts to give it a little more of that movie vibe. I was debating on whether to post this or not because I'm sure everyone has seen enough BBs already, but yeah since I already took the pics I decided to share it anyway. View the Custom Gallery Here

Ratchet's something that I've longed dreamt of doing as I felt that the Hasbro/Takara molds do not do him justice at all. Even the Metallic/Best buy Ratchet was not even anywhere near droolsome. He may seem kinda yellowish green in the pictures but in reality, it's a little bit more to the greenish side (just a little). He was meticulously detailed and even his butterfly axe had the red patterns repainted. Ratchet was shaded and drybrushed and had anti UV gloss smacked on to him. Well, that's that. Always wanted to re-do Ratchet. So happy that I've finally done it!! And among all my customs, I dare say that pictures do not do Ratchet any justice as he seriously looks twic…

  9. Started by Garage Mod,

well this was an act of madness on my part. a fully redone unicron using the previously version. So long story short about 3 months of work off and on, lotsa magic sculpt, wire, bondo, paint, sweat and tears gets you one of these. hope you guys like it! View the Custom Gallery Here
