Upgrades

Always wanted an excuse to paint this mold & when i spotted Calloway Designs Heads & Sword on Shapeways that was all the excuse i needed,these heads were a real joy to paint. Apart from the new heads & swords he's pretty much a straight up repaint of everyones favourite skeletal samurai Decepticon,painted with Vallejo & Citadel Acrylics. thisis just how i pulled it off but i removed the pins that attached the wings to the body and sliced the pin grip holds off the sides of the back and the wings them selves. to give the wings some decent multijointed wing musculeture i took transmetal terrasores lower body and sliced it in half top to bottom and then i removed the duel knee joint portion of the upper leg all together. now theres a reason for this. i took cicadacons upper legs and sliced the hip joint completely off of the upper leg so i could build it onto terrasores upper legs where the pegs for the upper legs used to be built into them at the bottom there by replacing them with cicadacon slegs.…
