  1. Started by SureShot,

Well, here's my latest development... Deadend into Mirage... I didn't realize how close the head was for G1 mirage... at least the toy anyway, not so much the show. The color is almost exactly the G1 mirage color... I just need better light to reflect the true color... the alt pic is to show the difference between a flash and incadesent light. Enjoy!

  2. Started by @l3x,

I did this topic topic a few weeks ago, but it was a not that great of a photoshop (partially due to the fact that that no good pictures were available when I did it). Not to mention it was confirmed that he will have bumpers on both of his legs... First, Mirage:

  3. Started by Hellion42,

So I was poking around tfu.info the other day, just looking at stuff, and I came across G1 Wildrider. I saw the similarities in the alt mode between him and Alt Mirage, hadn't seen it done before, so I figured I would digibash it to see how it came out: I can't decide if it looks too garish or too plain. :tflaugh It was tough for me to get a proper balance between the shadows and highlights on the car body; taking a dark color and making it lighter is harder than I thought it would be (Hasbro's Super-Shiny product pics didn't help either). :lol I think I see why Hasbro went with the light blue for his hands and joints... it breaks up the monotony a bit. I star…

The racing stripes aren't the best, but you get the idea:

  5. Started by Smokescreen Magnus,

Hey guys, I looked on transtopia or the tfmaster website and I noticed that in the alt mod thread they were all broken or out of date links. I figured we could start a new one here to put all of the mods that people know of (with pics if possible) then we can all have access to find them without having to trawl the forum or other sites.. sound like a good idea? If you guys can all post the ones you know of and we can get this bad boy rolling!

  6. Started by icanfly,

Hey Got these Guys recently and decided to modify them into characters that can stand with my alts. Sorry bout the glare on some of them Groove: added white and some decals Insecticon Ransack: Only really added faction labels. Bike mode same as original Wheelie: I know this has been done before but thats no reason not to do it again. added some black, painted the visor, added silver paint to the pipes to imulate chrome, added faction symbol. Afterburner: Tried to modify this to not look so feminine but didnt succeed too much. Squared off the inner thighs and head, modded chest to be flatter, and painted him red Group shots…

  7. Started by KodaFrenzy,

I found a digibashed Scion XB pickup on a custom auto site and G2 Motormouth/Ironhide mold came to mind. This is my very first kitbash and I'm taking small steps. So far, I've only cut the rear windows off to form part of the bed. http://www.tfu.info/1995/Autobot/Motormouth/motormouth.htm I still have to touchup the paint, decide on a head, cut the rear window off to form the tailgate and somehow fabricate the rest of the cab and bed covering. I've thought about hiding speakers, rocket launchers, a super engine or something under the cover. I would like to keep the tailgate in one piece rather than splitting it in half, but I may have limited options …

No this is not a flame thread about them copying my design so don't flame me for doing that this time around. I got Alt Optimus today and I can't believe the difference in height but I suppose that it's due to the truck bed legs since the main body is pretty much the same height. Any ways here is a bot mode only comparison pic. Roddy: You may be taller but I've got a bigger gun. Optimus:Wow that's a big gun!

  10. Started by KodaFrenzy,

Needs some tweaking, but I think we could go somewhere with this. I've torn Mudflap apart and his legs look about right for Optimus' arms. Maybe MF could be reshelled into a trailer with parts from a truck bed. If anyone can improve have at it! :) I wanna see a badass prime.
