Convention Center

I'm after a buyer who's going to BotCon ( a Primus or Iacon Package holder), who's willing to purchase a second set of the five-figure convention set (in poly bags, no box, no certificate, etc) for $129. I'll pay in advance through paypal, etc. I was going to get them through TOM before, but he's had something come up that's stopped him going to BotCon, so that's why I'm a little late in my asking. :redface Anyway..... anyone who's interested in doing this GIANT favour for me, either reply to this topic or PM me.

Any news on the 2011 BotCon film festival? Like where to sign up, or submit your video too? I have an Idea for one, but I don't know where to submit it. Anyone know how to, also, do you need to be at the convention inorder for the people to show and determine the winner and all that stuff? ( :D ) This would be most appreciated, yeessssss. :D

mine? I'm just going to pick up a couple of things at the tfsource booth (if there's one at '06) and look around after that.what about you?

just wondering. AND, have we made a list yet of everyone that IS going? not a thread with comments of people that may, or i can't in it? what if we posted our name and # so we could get in touch with each other while we are there. just an idea.

Not that I've posted enough to make any friends, but I still would like to put some names to faces. Does anyone here attending BotCon plan on wearing a nametag that has their screenname? I realize that that is abysmally dorky, but so is attending a BotCon.

WHEN AND WHERE IN ILLINIOS OR THE STATE OF ILLINIOS WILL THERE BE A CONVENTION OR A BOTCON

I faxed in my registration for Botcon. Having never gone before, I don't know what to expect. Do you get a confirmation from them or when will I hear anything back? Anybody know?

Hi all! Trying to find some Botcon Roommates for the 2012 convention in Dallas. I have a room already reserved for Thursday to Sunday with 2 double beds. If you need a room please PM me here or email me at rodimus@mindspring.com . Thanks! Don

Heya all! I just heard from my friend Brian and as it stands he is not going to be able to make it. So I am looking for two roommates to split a room at the Hilton. The room's already reserved for Thursday June 2nd to Sunday the 5th. It's got double beds so they'll be plenty of room (I have trouble sleeping away from home so I usually just grab a chair or something). This is my 17th Botcon, so I'm a little familiar to all the in's and out's ;) I'm pretty laid back (other when I'm late trying to make panels) so don't worry about that. If you need a place just shoot me a PM or an email and we'll work something out! Thanks!

I was just reading the TFormers post about Hasbro and Takara panel and got to thinking, are these conventions worth it? because I have never actually been to one of these, since I was still in school and all. now that I'm done, I might consider going to a con one of these days. I don't know convention history, but was there one that held in California at all?
