Convention Center

I was wondering Who all would want to meet up Thursday night of the botcon week? With Thursday being the check in day and that is about it. That sounds like a great idea to me. I can not do a meet Sunday night As I will have to drive back home. I'm sure other board members are in the same boat. I have my room book at the Hyatt. So we could have it there or if someone has an idea where else to have it I'm up for ideas. Please either send me e-mail or post here. Thinking about having a small contest, not sure what what kind. But I have an idea of the contest. Let me know what you all think

Hang out with comics' creators and work for a worthy cause. Give me four hours every day and you get into the con for free. Serious and responsible volunteers only. Well, I plan on heading out to frelling Frisco for the con this fall, so it got me thinking. I usually drive out, but it usually isn't so far. So, I'm wondering if there are any other New York Transfans that plan on going out there and are interested in carpooling or somesuch (obviously meeting in person ahead of time so there can be a mutual feeling of "yeah, that person wasn't an evil Decepticon looking to abandon me in Texas" would be cool). I'd be interested in meeting people who'd want to make a long drive a little less difficult. If not, I'll probably be flying.
