My cousin Michelle was one of the winners of the OTFCC 2004 voice contest, and we were discussing the contest and her participation in the script reading that night (to anyone who was there, she was Spychanger Optimus Prime and Sideburn.) I got plenty of footage of the script reading, including rehearsal footage. I didn't get her original part in the contest, though. Does anyone have video of the voice imitation contest? I'd be willing to trade a copy of the rehearsal footage for it. Dave

The Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) is an annual gamer festival held in Washington state, USA. PAX was created by Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulik, the authors of the Penny Arcade webcomic, because they wanted to attend a show that gave equal attention to console gamers, computer gamers, and tabletop gamers. Created in 2004, PAX has nearly doubled in size each successive year and has been hailed as a weekend-long celebration of gamer culture. Defining characteristics include an insider keynote speech, game-inspired concerts, panels on game industry topics, exhibitor booths, after-hours parties, tournaments, and freeplay areas. http://www.pennyarcadeexpo.com/ anyone going?

http://www.lebowskifest.com/ So I'm a big Lebowski fan, and looking at there website, says the 5th annual Lebowski fest will take place in Louisville, KY on Sept 29-30, some of the same days and location as Botcon. I'm not familiar with KY but mapquest says there about an hour apart. I have to imagine the Lebowski fest will be later in the evenings where as botcon happens during the day, anyone else interested? Discuss.
