Mirage looks a LOT better in hand than the early pics made the figure look and in my opinion, looks better than the upcoming Studio Series release. Transformation is smooth and not that difficult. The colors are nice but I'm partial to blues and grays. This is a solid figure all around and worth the purchase.

Here is a little dude that never made it into the Dark of the Moon line. I say that because he has very little in common with the Prime aesthetic, plus he is based on a ride that is clearly set in the Movieverse. However, he is pretty awesome and well worth 5 bucks. Successful and fun in both modes. A transformers figure that embodies the core concept of the toy line. Pro: Crisp, clean and well engineered parts. Clever use of plastic. Cons:Downsized at same price. Inaccurate transformation that relies on fake parts.

Here is my review of the new Transformers Bot Shots Shockwave, featuring the "Jump Shot" gimmick. At close inspection, he actually is sculpted pretty nicely in robot mode. And the Jump Shot gimmick is fun, if not a bit explosive!
