  1. Toyhax greatly improved the plain look of Studio Series 86 Blurr. He still needs a good Plastic Surgeon though.
  2. Look behind door number 2 Monty and check out my Review of Studio Series 86 Wreck-Gar.
  3. A quirky look at teeny Dinobots by way of the WST Grimlock and Slag. We also compare them to their Studio Series 86t big brother counterparts!
  4. Studio Series 86-09 Voyager Wreck-Gar figure review. This guy is pretty cool. Never had a Wreck-Gar figure before. My only complaint is my figure has two left hip pieces so the designs don't match up and the left leg doesn't lock in. If I rotated the hip there would be the hollow areas on the outside. Still a cool figure, scales well with other 86 figures.
  5. A look at the next in the Transformers Studio Series '86 line with Dinoboit Slug (or Slag if you are a G1 fan like me) and the abysmal Daniel (sooo shoulda been a sword). Luckily, our dinoboy here is pretty fantastic!
  6. Studio Series 86 Leader Class Slug & Daniel Witwicky. Slug, or Slag as he used to be called, is very cartoon accurate in both modes. But this figure does have his problems, at least mine does. So far a peg has broken holding his faceplate and a horn has broken off. Not sure if QC issue or I just got a bad one. Still a very nice figure to add to any collection. Finally got dinobots in the proper scale
  7. Aren't we all craving for a Masterpiece Jazz? At least I am. Studio Series '86 Jazz: not a masterpiece, but a fun figure and pretty cartoon accurate.
  8. GotBot

    '86 Jazz Toyhax

A look at the Toyhax Transformers Studio Series '86 Jazz set. There are a few possible looks, but I'm happy with what I settled on.
  9. This is part 2 to last Friday's look at several Upgrade kits. This time we have various 3D parts, including a couple arm blasters, swords, teeth, and arm fillers for Studio Series 86 Grimlock. We compare these to the Nonnef set. Finally, new legs for ole Wheelie!
  10. The "Tracker" hunts down a new look thanks to Toyhax.
  11. Studio Series 86 Grimlock. Very sturdy figure and very good G1 feel. Got me to reappreciate Masterpiece Grimlock as well!
  12. Studio Series 86 Hot Rod. Pretty awesome figure, pretty tiny figure. Pretty cool. Here's a quick fix, enjoy!
  13. Now THIS is what a voyager should be. We might well have a definitive Scourge on our hands.
  14. This time we look at the Transformers Studio Series 86 Jazz and compare him to my custom RtS and FoC Jazzes. Known QC issues aside, this guy could be a contender for definitive Jazz
  15. FINALLY...a Transformer all cranky and old..like me! Studio Series 86' Kup, and we compare him to my highly customized Titans Return version
  16. Studio Series Grimlock is here to munch metal in my newest Review.
  17. Tonight on GotBot Goes Live, we talked Kingdom Rodimus, Quintesson Gaurd, Zeta's evil Superion and more. Plus we covered this week's trivia question and topped the night off with an unboxing!
