Waited all year for Onyx Prime. I wondered how effectively they'd pull off such a wild design, especially in an attempt to pay homage to his Covenant iteration. This Age of the Primes offering? It is, in a word, glorious!

Getting back into the swing of things with Transformers Age of the Primes Skydive, the next in the Aerialbot updates. As a reuse and slight remold of Air Raid, this time we show the conversion going from plane back to robot and address how functional and accurate he really is.

Not a Unicron Trilogy guy, but must say AOTP Sideways is enjoyable. On mine, the accessory likes to pop off in plane mode but I found a little work wound if you have the same tabbing issue. Plus, I will be using his as a different character!

While Unicron trilogy is usually outside my wheelhouse, I must admit, for a deluxe price point, Cybertron Excellion is tremendous, not perfect, but tremendous value and solid, SOLID fun.
