  1. Transformers Legacy United Voyager Animated Universe Optimus Prime Figure. Comes with one axe weapon with expandable handle.
  2. Something a little different this Friday as we look back at the Transformers Animated Happy Meal set (minus Lugnut whom we looked at previously. THAT review is linked as a card). The set includes Optimus, Bee, Ratchet, Megatron and Starscream!
  3. Tonight on GotBot Goes Live, we reacted to Legacy United Animated Optimus and Bumblebee on the eve of Pulsecon. Plus, we cover a minor Pulsecon rumor, and news for Uniqx Square and YOLOPARK. We topped things off with trivia and this week's unboxing!
  4. A little Transformers Animated love with four legends class (Optimus, Bumblebee, Prowl and Starscream)...but not sure if they are from two different 3-packs or simply the Universe 2008 line. Either way, a little Wednesday fun!
  5. Tonight on GotBot Goes Live, we updated Haslab Victory Saber and Deathsaurus. We touched on several items related to Rise of the beasts, as well as, Transformers: Rise. We covered some third party notes and briefly address a possible Generations Medix. Finally, we did this week's unboxing!
  6. Time got away from me yesterday but "Friday"'s video was Transformers Animated Blitzwing and, funny enough, I feel like the way I feel about this guy is likely to be how my thoughts would fall for Legacy Blitzwing. Like, I am feeling potential parallels, at least for me.
  7. A super speed blast from the past with Animated Blurr!
  8. I think Transformers Animated is so underrated, and so are the toys. Here is the Leader Class Ultra Magnus, who comes with a hammer and has lights and signs and a bunch of hidden weapons. Hasbro doesn't like to do electronics anymore so this is a gem. Not the easiest and smoothest to transform, but still a pretty cool action figure. Enjoy...
  9. With the Studio Series 86 Wreck Gar eeking out I thought it was a fun time to look back at the last voyager version we had of this guy, that being the ole Animated Wreck-Gar!
  10. Transformers Animated: a very unique entry. A very expressive style and fun transformations. This one's just that. Enjoy!
  11. Uploaded a bitesize review video of Animated Rodimus aka Hot Rod! I really like this little figure, because it has a very sleek car mode and a robot mode with no kibble at all! Let me know what you think!
  12. Rise up and bear witness to my Review of the glorious TFA Leader Class Megatron from 2008.
  13. Hard to believe that it's been 7 years since Transformers: Animated rolled out onto Cartoon Network. For three seasons, this US produced series brought a new spin on the Transformers universe. While the art stylings were controversial to some, the series did an admiarable job of tying in the TF multiverse to keep all fan bases happy. Sadly, Hasbro and Cartoon Network dissolved their relationship. Worse yet, only 2 of the 3 seasons were ever commercially released before the 2 entites went their separate ways. Finally, Shout Factory is filling the void by offering the complete series in one DVD set. The DVD set is in the form of 6 DVDs packaged in one standard sized case. The cover is somewhat vanilla, with well known stock images of the Autobots laced around the front. Be warned, this is a theme with the packaging overall. Each season's DVDs (2 per season) are color coded, with one character featured on each disc (the 5 core Autobots of the series plus Starscream). The left inner jacket contains an episode listing while the right inner jacket has another Autobot group shot. The set is true to it's word as far as standard content. Every episode, from the 3-part pilot to the season 3 finale is represented. The sound quality is also there, with the audio being coded in Dolby Digital. However, those who don't utilize English as a primary language will be disappointed to know that the set is only in English, with no subtitles or dubs. Also disappointing is that every DVD uses the same root title screen. Users can pick PLAY ALL or EPISODES. On the subject of extras, here is the bonus content that is included with this set: Audio commentary on the episodes "Garbage In, Garbage Out" and "Transwarped" That's it. Where the original season sets offered galleries, the complete series offers audio commentary that (in the case of Garbage In Garbage Out) was already featured. That becomes awkward considering the fact that this DVD set is only available via Amazon.com at the price of $35.97. Consider that you can purchase Season 3 directly from Shout Factory's website for $8.99; and find the first 2 seasons relatively easy for about $4-$6 used per season; and $35.97 seems way off base. It's great that fans of the Transformers Animated series can now enjoy all three seasons from the confort of their DVD player or computer. Fortunately, those who already own the first 2 seasons can buy Season 3 and not miss out on anything. While this complete series collection is conveniently packaged, there is nothing extra that justifies it's lofty pricepoint. I can only recommend this set for those who don't have any of the series on media yet and want the convenience of buying it without a hunt.
